hiya all

in the last week when i have gone to play GW on two different computers the download time for the game has taken forever. Normally i click on the icon and im ingame within seconds. At the moment i click on the icon, the GW icon with the %bar appears and it takes nearly 10 minutes to reach 100%. When i finally type in my password, my character comes up, but in her starter armou, and when i click play the download time is nearly 15 minutes.

Can anyone help??

OK, this is what has happened since the update for the nightfall preview event, it is a very large update, and there some bugs within it, which have now been fixed.

If you had took the time to read some recent posts you would have found that out for yourself, you may find this a bit harsh, but I am sick and tired of repeating myself.

As for your starter armour at character selection, this will have corrected itself the next time you log in, I know mine has.
